This project therefore aims to restore and improve livelihoods, to create productive and decent emergency employment to increase income generation through sustainable enterprise development and by improving the employability of vulnerable groups. The proposed intervention, will empower youth at risk, including at least 30% of women, and will contribute to the improved security by creating sustainable and alternative livelihood opportunities for youth at risk of joining armed groups and violent extremism. The project will also ensure that communities from various factions and groups are to the extent possible involved in joint activities in order to create space for reconciliation. Last, the project will always be clear in its targeting mechanisms for beneficiaries, and will put in place a complaint mechanism so that communities have the necessary trust in its fair implementation .
