Capacity of constituens strengthened to prevent unacceptable forms of work among women and indigenous workers in target sectors

The project's objectives are: Improved policies and actions for preventing unacceptable forms of work and improving working conditions for indigenous peoples. Milestones: 1, 2, 3 and 4. (Time frame: Mid-2019); and Capacity building: Enhanced capacities of constituents and indigenous peoples’ organizations on legal and policy processes of relevance to indigenous peoples in the world of work. These include the draft Indigenous Peoples’ Rights Bill, national labour legislation, collective agreement and relevant ILO instruments, as well as the ILO standards-setting on violence and harassment. Milestones: 1 to 7 (Time frame: December 2019).
