Food Africa Project: Empowering youth and promoting innovative PPPs through more efficient agro-food value chains in Nigeria
The project will use the sustainable enterprise development approach to implement the ILO component of the project. In addition, it will help develop and build the capacity of local cooperatives in the project area for sustainability. By using this strategy, the project will not only contribute to local economic development in the project area, but will as well help ensure to some degree sustainability of the project. With regards the skills training component, established vocational centers in the project area will be engaged to conduct these training with technical supervision and support from the ILO. The ILO will also introduce WIND in order to ensure that occupational safety and health aspects are taken care within the project target area.
