Building a Generation of Safe and Healthy Workers - SAFE and HEALTHY YOUTH_Argentina

The Project will generate and share new, evidence-based knowledge on OSH and youth in Argentina, as well as rapid assessments focused on the agricultural sector. A National Conference on youth and OSH will take place to share and discuss the results with all relevant stakeholders, and to create a consensus on the need to work on youth and OSH issues. This Conference will launch the consultation process that will inform the development of a National SafeYouth@Work Action Plan. A tripartite plus committee will be set up to draft the National Plan. Once the final draft is available, province-level validation events will be organized, and at least one of the activities foreseen by the Plan will be carried out by this Project, thus catalyzing public and/or private support and resources to boost its implementation. Communication materials (videos, factsheets, infographics) will be developed to disseminate the results of the studies and to bring about visibility and awareness of the National SafeYouth@Work Plan. Activities are expected to take place in the Province of Buenos Aires, the City of Buenos Aires, Mendoza, Santa Fe and Córdoba. The project will have a duration of 18 months, and a total budget of USD 400,066.
