Jobs in green and healthy transport: making the green shift

In collaboration with UNECE, this project will estimate the employment impact of advancing sustainability in the transport sector. Following the methodology used in the 2018 World Employment and Social Outlook: Greening with Jobs, the project will estimate the effect on the number and regional and sectoral distribution of jobs related to scenarios that portray the promotion of public transport and the electrification of private vehicles. The project will deliver a report which will also develop policy avenues that should complement transport policies for any transition to be just.
