Supporting Respect for the Working Conditions of Workers in the Agro-Export Sector in Guatemala

The project “Supporting the respect to the working conditions of workers in the agro-export sector in Guatemala" aims at supporting the workers in the agricultural export sector receive at least minimum wage, working within legal limits for hours, receiving due compensation for overtime and operating in a safe working environment. In order to assure the enforcement of acceptable conditions of work laws in the agricultural export sector the project will focus on the following theory of change: If the capacity of the labor inspectorate and Judiciary are improved then workers from the agricultural export sector will work with acceptable working conditions.
