Support to enhancing labour inspection effectiveness and OSH in the Occupied Palestinian Territory

The project is part of the second Palestinian Decent Work Programme, which articulates the strategic framework for ILO interventions at the national level for the years 2018-22. Specifically, work in the area of labour inspection and OSH falls under the first priority of the DWCP related to strengthening labour governance and the realization of fundamental principles and rights at work through improved social dialogue mechanisms. It contributes to the achievement of DWCP outcome 1.3: “Workplace compliance is improved to better protect labour rights and promote safe and secure working environments for all workers in line with national laws and regulations and international standards, through strengthened labour inspection and increased preventative OSH culture”.
