Actuarial Assessment of the Zambia Social Security Reforms: Pensions, Workers Compensation, Maternity
The project will support the preparation of actuarial assessment model(s) allowing to ascertain financing implications of social security policy reforms envisaged by the Government of Zambia in the areas of: a) maternity protection, b) pensions, and c) employment injury. The project will support the fine tuning and utilization of the actuarial assessment model(s) to inform policy decisions prior to and during the first year of implementation of the reforms. The project will support the dissemination of the results of the actuarial assessment and engagement of policy makers and stakeholders on the implications of the results. The project will also contribute to capacity building of the National Technical Committee on Social Security Reforms, National Social Security Institutions and Government staff on actuarial analysis.
