Regional training workshop on quality and apprenticeship for Asia and the Pacific

The ITC-ILO, the ILO, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security (MOHRSS) of the People’s Republic of China, JPMorgan Chase Foundation and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) are joining forces to improve the employability of low and middle-skilled workers in the region. The joint efforts aim to promote the quality apprenticeships programme as an effective means to provide young people with disadvantaged backgrounds with labour market relevant skills and exposure to the work environment and help prepare them for better employment opportunities. In this manner, the Regional Training Workshop on Quality Apprenticeships for Asia and the Pacific is organized for the constituents of this region. This project represents the contribution from SDC in funding this "training workshop" which takes place in Siem Reap, Cambodia on 10-14 December 2018.
