Promoting Decent Work for Women in Turkey

The overall objective of this action is to increase number of women working with decent conditions in Turkey. In this framework, the project specifically aims to that National Action Plan (NAP) and Local Action Plans (LAP) on Women’s Employment effectively implemented and monitored; and measures for decent work conditions of women (special focus given to gender pay gap, gender based violence at work place, reconciling work-life balance and women’s leadership) adopted and implemented by the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Services, the social partners and by pilot enterprises. With this aim, partnership will be developed with the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Services, the Public Employment Agency, worker’s and employers’ organizations and the pilot enterprises in the selected sectors that are textile, commerce and office and metal.
