Building Capacity for Effective Employment Services in Sub-Saharan Africa and MENA

This project proposal aims at contributing to strengthening the capacity of Public and Private Employment Services Providers in selected countries in the MENA and SSA regions through provision of tailored trainings in employment services and sharing of international practices and experiences to members of the Community of Practice (CoP) established under the GIZ Global Initiative on Innovative Employment Services for Youth, “YouMatch II” Programme in order to reinforce the capacities of the CoP members so that the CoPs manage to transfer approaches amongst partner countries and ultimately formulate policy recommendations and provide technical expertise especially for collaborating regional bodies. The aim of the YouMatch II Programme is to improve employment services for the youth through exchange of good practices and capacity building among organizations that implement employment services in the public, private and third sectors in a concerted manner and to influence policy at the national, regional and continental levels.
