Supporting the implementation of the road map on tackling undeclared work in Greece

The objective of this project component is to provide support to the Ministry of Labour (MLSSSS) in the implementation of the roadmap on tackling undeclared work in Greece. This will notably include helping prepare ASE meetings related to the implementation of the road map, providing evidence-based support, coordinating the implementation of some of the recommendations of the roadmap, and facilitating dicussions with social partners about the completion of some of the recommendations included in the Roadmap in the framework of the Tripartite Committee. Such support will strengthen trust and cooperation among the Government and the social partners to find an effective, balanced path to fight undeclared work. This activity results from an explicit request from the Ministry and social partners who acknowledged the positive role played by the ILO in that process and who stressed the need for a continuation of the ILO support to implement the roadmap through social dialogue
