Promoting market based approaches to enhance economic inclusion of refugees and host communities
The immediate outcome of this project will be increased capacity of UNHCR and partners to design market-based livelihoods interventions for refugees. The ILO HQ team and consultants will be expected to deliver the following outputs for the components: Tailored ‘support clinics’ to support in adopting a facilitation approach to refugee economic inclusion provided to 3 country operations; Guidance for refugee livelihoods officers globally on how to conduct market systems analysis and translate results into action is developed; and Support the launch of a global campaign on the economic contribution of refugees to their host communities through entrepreneurship launched by UNHCR.
