Strengthening HIV and AIDS Response amongst the Informal Economy Workers in Zimbabwe 19

The project seeks to strengthen the capacity of informal economy management structures and the sector associations to facilitate access to integrated HIV support services to informal economy workers. The targeted groups will be the artisanal miners at identified locations, and vendors operating in selected sites, targeting young men and women, and sex workers. The project will be piloted and data collected to inform scaling-up of interventions to other sites and localities. The immediate objective is to increase access to comprehensive HIV and AIDS services and commodities for informal economy workers, focusing on young women and men.
