Strengthening world of work response to HIV and AIDS in India 19

The ILO will make specific contributions to fill the testing gap by promoting Voluntary Counselling and Testing (VCT@Work) in some key sectors (Hospitality, Diamond, Transport, Textiles, Agriculture and mining) and also promote a Stigma free work environment, with a focus on health care workplaces by identifying and promoting non-discriminatory practices against those affected by HIV. A small pilot on HIV self-testing will also be undertaken to fill the testing gap.
