Support to the implementation of the Decent Work Country Programme in Kuwait
The first Decent Work County Programme (DWCP) in Kuwait for 2018-20 was developed based consultations with tripartite constituents in 2018 and focuses on three main priority areas: (1) Enhancing skills of women and men foreign workers ; (2) Improved Governance of foreign labour, and (3) Strengthening social dialogue and tripartism. The DWCP is aligned to relevant national development frameworks and the United Nations Strategic Partnership Framework 2019-2023. This project supports the implementation of the DWCP through training activities for Government officials and representatives of employers and workers, including women. This project provides the foundation for the delivery of the DWCP and lasting results.
