Formalizing Access to the Legal Labour Market for Refugees and Host Communities in Jordan-second year

This intervention will enhance Jordanian and refugee beneficiaries’ access to the formal labour market and decent work in the Amman, Irbid, Zarqa, Karak and Mafraq governorates by: (a) enhancing employability in the formal labour market through skills development, work safety trainings and expansion of the On Job Training& Employment, Recognition of Prior Learning model to new occupations; (b) supporting female workers to enter and remain in the formal work force through targeted packages of support and business development services; and (c) facilitating the issuance of work permits, including through a web-based e-counselling platform.
