Rural Employment Promotion for Poverty Reduction in Lao People’s Democratic Republic: Focus on Income Generation for UXO-affected Communities and Families
This project will give special focus to UXO affected communities and families in Sekong and Savannakhet provinces in Lao PDR in order to improve their livelihoods through integrated rural strategies based on real market demand. The main interventions will likely draw from the positive experiences in the areas of value chain upgrading, skills development and employment-intensive community-based small infrastructure schemes that have been initiated in the framework of previous initiatives and make sure that they will benefit to a maximum to UXO affected communities and families.
