Effective systems for social dialogue and tripartism in place, institutionalized and operationalized

This intervention focuses on building back better Sri Lanka’s national and enterprise-level dispute resolution mechanisms. It targets the Department of Labour, the Employers’ Federation of Ceylon and workers’ organisations to improve industrial relations at the workplace and strengthen national tripartite social dialogue to support social and economic policy development and implementation in the aftermath of the COVID19 crisis. At the enterprise level, it provides technical support in the tea plantation and apparel sectors on workplace cooperation mechanisms and dispute prevention processes.
