Appui à la mise en place de réponses immédiates pour faire face à l’impact de la crise du COVID-19 sur les acteurs du secteur informel à Kinshasa, République Démocratique du Congo
The main objective of the intervention is to combat the spread of the virus in the informal sectors of the city of Kinshasa by optimally managing the repercussions of the COVID-19 crisis on the physical and mental health of the actors in the informal sector through the implementation of preventive measures; thus allowing for the continuity of essential and vital services and the preparation of containment and/or deconfinement under good conditions. Thus, mobilization in the fight against the spread of the virus involves reducing the economic, social and human consequences of the COVID-19 crisis for the actors of the informal sector. Within this framework, immediate responses are possible through social dialogue. The proposed intervention is based on the following 3 axes: Reducing exposure to the virus and the risks of contagion; providing aid, income and food support to compensate for the loss of economic activity for actors in the informal sector; and reducing and preventing damage to the economic fabric and preserving employment.
