Orientación vocacional y fortalecimiento de habilidades transversales en Colombia
The program "The Future belongs to the Youth" is aimed at vocational orientation and strengthening of soft and transversal skills of young people between 16 and 21 years old with fiduciary assignment, victims of the internal armed conflict in Colombia. It consists of a program of cooperation and technical assistance of the International Labor Organization - ILO and the Organization of Ibero-American States for Education, Science and Culture - OEI, it constitutes a strategy of support to the actions of the Ministry of Labor of the Republic of Colombia destined to the population victim of the armed conflict, especially, to the young population victim of the armed conflict of the country with range of age between 16 and 21 years. This initiative proposes the achievement of results that, as a whole, will make it possible for young victims of the armed conflict to bring their opportunities into line with those of the Colombian population, in terms of territorial dynamics and vocations. Within this framework of actions, the strategy will allow, on the one hand, the appropriation of a series of soft and transversal skills that will be strengthened in the daily life of young victims of the armed conflict; on the other hand, the life project of the same will be identified, with the purpose of orienting them within the commercial and economic dynamics of their regions, in front of the different economic practices of the territory for the implementation of ideas of entrepreneurship or academic inclusion or labor inclusion, according to their interests, competences, skills and capacities.
