COVID-19 SERP: Industry 4.0/ Digital Assessment for Cambodia Garment Sector

This project is a preparatory work which will lead to development of a full-fledged prodoc to promote identified technology integration into business operations of exporting GFT sector in line with the government’s strategies. Expected outcome: Increased understanding on how automation is being adapted in garment enterprises; what the future of work looks like in this regards, and the types of skill sets that would be required for this potentially increasingly automated sector. Focusing on assessing the digital readiness of garment enterprises; GFT’s digitization strategy including plans for increased automation, type of technologies, skills required and strategy to build these skills in the garment sector, as well as determining which technologies can be realistically be integrated given their existing business structure
