Strengthening social dialogue through capacity building of workers' organizations and employers' organizations 2021

The project’s objectives are to organize two parallel actions: 1.) Unions Say “Yes” to Revitalization: Building Union Power through Intergenerational Partnership is a training and knowledge-sharing action designed by the Programme for Workers’ Activities (ACTRAV) of the ITCILO in partnership with the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC). The Action aims at building union power through intergenerational partnership. It will contribute to strengthening trade union role as a key partner in social dialogue to help shape the world of work for Europe of tomorrow. It builds around ETUC’s forward-looking strategy to boost trade union renewal and revitalization in Europe with young workers as the key drivers of change. And 2) The Employers Young professionals’ Academy is at its 10th edition and is one of the ITCILO flagship initiatives, run in collaboration with BusinessEurope. The Academy aims at strengthening the capacity of young staff members of employers’ organizations (EOs) in their core functions, notably advocacy, social dialogue and understanding of economic policy.
