Promoción de medios de vida y transición hacia empleo decente de trabajadores independientes venezolanos en Lima Metropolitana

The ILO, within the framework of its mandate and commitment, has been articulating initiatives that contribute to the actions of the Peruvian State aimed at promoting an adequate socioeconomic insertion of migrant workers in the country in the context of the current global pandemic and post quarantine. This intervention proposes to generate livelihoods and transition to decent employment for independent Venezuelan workers in vulnerable situations, through three components: 1) Strengthening of the financial culture for the generation of savings and access to microfinance services 2) Generation and/or strengthening of businesses in line with the new market context 3) Promotion of occupational health and safety in new business lines 4) Definition of guidelines for the integration of migrants in public employment services.
