The Knowledge Hub package proposal: The SSE Encyclopedia and the UNTFSSE position paper

This project is implemented under the auspices of the United Nations Task Force on the Social and Solidarity Economy (UNTFSSE)1. It harnesses the unique and peculiar potential of Social and Solidarity Economy Enterprises and Organizations (SSEEOs) to contribute to the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The project raises the awareness about, and enhance the visibility of, the SSE within the UN system and beyond by reinforcing the already established Knowledge Hub2; it provides policymakers and academics with a reference tool which contains information and knowledge on a wide range of topics associated with SSE by establishing a SSE Encyclopedia; and it contributes significantly to the “Delivering as One” approach of the United Nations by working on and publishing a joint Position Paper of the UNTFSSE on the subject of SSE.
