Juventudes desplazadas por la violencia en Honduras: protagonistas resilientes hacia nuevos paradigmas de desarrollo sostenible desde la diversidad y el territorio
The project seeks to promote and support peace-building in three urban centers in Honduras, San Pedro Sula, Choloma and Siguatepeque, focusing on the existing conflicts between young people displaced by violence in their communities of origin and the local host communities. The project tackles three connected aspects 1. gender; 2. age generational issues; and 3. human rights, by integrating the actions of three central actors 1. youth; 2. communities; and 3. local authorities. The starting point is the conflict between displaced population and host communities, and the construction of peace cultures is the point of arrival, which will be achieved by promoting the peaceful resolution of conflicts between the displaced population and the host communities and promoting peaceful conflict resolution as the path to follow.
