II Valuación Actuarial del Régimen de Salud del Instituto Salvadoreño del Seguro Social (ISSS)

The project is aimed at strengthening the financial sustainability of the ISSS through the preparation of an actuarial valuation of the Health and Professional Risks Systems, which will be complemented with a training process for the institution's technical team. The ILO Health Actuarial Model called ILO/HEALTH has been developed based on the institutional experience accumulated over several decades of work in the field and is part of the ILO's Quantitative Platform on Social Security. The actuarial valuation of the ISSS Health System will be carried out using this model, which will be accompanied by a technical training component for the Institute's technical teams involved in financial-actuarial management.
