National Constituents Capacity Building and Joint Learning Plan

This project will develop and strengthen Bangladesh’s tripartite constituents’ capacity in the RMG sector through the ILO-Dhaka RMG Learning Hub. Established in mid-2020, the Learning Hub is a One-ILO approach to constituent capacity building at the country level, with gender equality at the core of its interventions. It also allows ILO-Dhaka and Better Work Bangladesh to better support the sustainability of the supply chain eco systems in Bangladesh. The activities include the development of a joint learning plan guided by an in-depth needs analysis with each of the national constituent groups; a training-of-trainers course for labour inspectors, employers and trade unions; the delivery of leadership and soft skills capacity building training for worker representatives for effective social dialogue; etc.
