What Works in Youth Employment

The program aims to boost the capacity of youth employment stakeholders and bolster the ILO’s leading position in youth employment issues in the multilateral system and beyond through knowledge curation, knowledge sharing, dialogues on evidence, and other virtual and in-person events. Building on the network and resources of the ILO-led Global Initiative on Decent Jobs for Youth, the program expands the knowledge base and tools available on the YouthForesight Knowledge Facility with a focus on policies and interventions that foster labour market outcomes of young people. Furthermore, the program develops an inclusive strategy for network engagement and knowledge dissemination that stimulates sharing and discussion at the “What Works in Youth Employment Community Forum”, the annual conference of Decent Jobs for Youth and the annual meeting of the Youth Employment Funders Group.
