INDISCO: Inter-regional Programme to Support Self-reliance of Indigenous and Tribal Communities through Cooperatives and other Self-help Organizations

The purpose of the programme is to contribute to the inclusion and strengthening of ITP issues in employment policies and programmes. The main activities are training modules on social finance for indigenous peoples, case studies, ongoing contribution and reporting to the ILO Advisory Group on indigenous issues, initiation of a broad desk study on the discrimination against indigenous women, contribution to and participation in training seminars on indigenous issues for government and indigenous partners.
