Fortalecimiento Institucional de EsSalud: Gobernanza y Capacidad Actuarial

The purpose is to establish a mechanism for collaboration and specialized technical cooperation by the ILO for the implementation of a Technical Assistance Program (TAP) to be called: "Institutional Strengthening of EsSalud: Governance and Actuarial Capacity". On July 8, 2011, ESSALUD and ILO signed an Interinstitutional Cooperation Framework Agreement, with the purpose of establishing and developing instruments of mutual collaboration and specialized technical cooperation for the implementation of various projects and programs, aimed at improving the quality of care, expanding health insurance coverage and establishing efficient mechanisms to ensure the medium and long-term financial sustainability of the social security health system.
