BETTER WORK AND INDUSTRY SUMMIT: Joint Remediation and Capability Building

Better Work has been engaged with the Industry Summit from its initial development and launch through to support of many of the current working groups. The Summit represents an opportunity for Better Work to engage strategically with brands in our focus on creating an enabling environment for decent working conditions in key garment producing countries. The tools and approaches that Better Work uses are aimed at creating strong partnerships with all stakeholders in the garment industry to ensure long-term and sustained behaviour change that improves working conditions and the competitiveness of the garment industry. This project is a collaboration between Better Work and the Industry Summit for the two main components: - Joint remediation support – engaging workers in the remediation process - Capability building support (social dialogue)
