Building inclusive markets for refugees and host communities in Nepal
The "Building inclusive markets for refugees and host communities in Nepal" project aims to improve access by migrants and host community groups to decent work opportunities, by making more inclusive the market dynamics of the selected value chains. For that, the project will carry out activities with three key objectives: to implement recommendations of the AIMS assessment conducted in 2021 through a market facilitation approach; to design a market facilitation plan for urban refugees, as a follow up of the study to conclude in 2022; and to build capacity of the UNHCR team, its implementing partners, and relevant stakeholders in the implementation of a systemic approach for refugee and host community livelihoods.
