Revenue budget Better Work Indonesia 2023-2027
Better Work is a flagship programme of the ILO, jointly managed by the International Finance Corporation, a member of the World Bank group. The programme brings diverse groups together - employers, factory owners, trade unions, global brands and governments - to improve working conditions and enhance business competitiveness in the global garment industry. The programme brings diverse groups together - employers, factory owners, trade unions, global brands and governments - to improve working conditions and enhance business competitiveness in the global garment industry. Better Work Indonesia was established in 2011 and has grown to include over 200 participating factories, impacting almost 400,000 workers, of which 80 % are female. In 2016, Better Work Indonesia created a national foundation, the Foundation Partnership at Work (Yayasan Kemitraan Kerja), to ensure the sustainability of the programme. This revenue funding will support the implementation of the Better Work Indonesia 2022-2027 strategy and the transition to the Foundation “Partnership at Work” as the key implementing partner of ILO and Better Work in Indonesia until 2027.
