Budget Better Work Nicaragua

Since 2011, Better Work Nicaragua (BWN) has engaged workers, employers, the government and multinational buyers to improve working conditions and enhance business competitiveness in the garment industry in Nicaragua. For the new strategic phase (2022-2027), BWN keeps its focus on improving working conditions and business competitiveness in the garment sector, while expanding to equip the national stakeholders to create an enabling policy environment that supports the growth of the garment industry and sustains BWN’s efforts. In addition, BWN will strengthen its role in Nicaragua and establish alliances to further impact the garment industry in Central America. BWN is financed by the BWG’s pooled fund as well as the revenue from factories and brands which will be recorded in this revenue project.
