Better Factories Cambodia Phase V Gender (USDOL)

The project KHM/23/51/USA is the continuation of the project KHM/19/51/USA. To capitalize on the gender and industrial relations (IR) work done in the project KHM/23/51/USA as well as taking the opportunity to respond to the requests of Better Factories Cambodia (BFC)’s constituents, through this additional USDOL funding, BFC aims to work on both gender equality and IR with the following focus: 1. Towards increased gender mainstreamed factory engagement [MTO: 1.1STO 1.1.2: Factory worker representatives and managers increase their ability to engage in gender-responsive dialogue] 2. Knowledge and tools to promote gender equality and industrial relations are shared with industry stakeholders and partners. [MTO 2.1/STO 2.1.3: Global brands, retailers, and manufacturers have increased knowledge and buy-in to promote gender equality in factory and industry levels] 3. Strengthen partnerships with worker-focused organizations in Cambodia for more gender inclusive unions [MTO 2.4/STO 2.4.1: BFC’s trade union contact group has greater knowledge to disseminate gender equality among their members.]
