Technical support and cooperation on design, actuarial and financial analysis, institutional and regulatory framework and implementation plan for the comprehensive social security system in South Africa

The project contributes to the comprehensive social security reform programme in South Africa, supporting the outputs on the national public dialogue, recommending improvements of the social security system. It assists with preparing submissions of draft policy, regulations and implementation plans to the Cabinet of Ministers. This includes recommendations of appropriate measures for achieving a better, sustainable and efficient social security system.
