EU–India Cooperation and Dialogue on Migration and Mobility, Phase II

From 2017 to 2022, the International Labour Organization (ILO) together with the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) implemented the “EU-India Cooperation and Dialogue on Migration and Mobility” project to contribute to a better governance of migration and mobility between the EU and India and prevent and address challenges related to irregular migratory flows. Building on progress made under this project, the “EU-India Cooperation and Dialogue on Migration and Mobility – Phase II” is being implemented by the ILO in collaboration with ICMPD to continue supporting better governance and management of mobility between the EU and India and to prevent and address challenges related to irregular migratory flows. The ILO component has an emphasis on strengthening legal migration pathways in the EU India corridor with a focus on existing mobility frameworks, skills, start-ups/businesses, labour market information and awareness raising.
