Migrant advocacy for rights

The project’s approach is one of inclusive migrant worker organizing and advocacy, backed by the provision of ILO’s gender- and rights-based technical advice on legal reform. Interventions are carried out to improve rights in the informal agriculture and manufacturing sectors in, and beyond, special economic zones. Towards this goal, the project will support unionizing and networking to advocate for rights in the workplace and in law.
