Digital, inclusive, and transformative: Quality education for Montenegro
The project is part of the EU reform facility that offers an opportunity to respond quickly and flexibly to the needs of the Government of Montenegro to implement reforms that accelerate progress on the dual agendas of the SDGs and EU accession. It brings UN expertise to bear to support these reforms. The project aims at enhancing the digital transformation of education, particularly in vulnerable communities and schools, through a smart and inclusive integration of digital tools and capacities into pedagogical practice. In addition, it supports better monitoring and evidence-based policy making. This will provide children and adolescents with opportunities to achieve better educational outcomes and to acquire the skills needed for learning, living and working in the 21st century. The ILO contribution includes capacity building on e-Pedagogy for TVET (technical and vocational education and training) teachers and support to the establishing of EdTech hubs at schools (primarily schools in the northern parts with large numbers of Roma and students with disabilities) as well as learning activities on career guidance and core employability skills.
