Improving accessibility and effectiveness of grievance mechanisms for workers in Serbian enterprises integrated into the supply chains of EU-based companies
Following the adoption of the Supply Chain Due Diligence Law in Germany in 2021, GIZ and the ILO have joined forces to provide workers in the enterprises in Serbia belonging to the supply chains of German companies with better access to grievance mechanisms. The project contributes to enhanced access to efficient grievance mechanisms for the workers in target industries, thus improving sound collective labour relations. Activities primarily focus on shop floor level grievance mechanisms and direct capacity building of compliance officers in companies based in Serbia that are part of the supply chains of EU based enterprises. The project seeks to promote the benefits of internal grievance mechanisms and assist companies with their introduction and implementation.
