Employment-intensive labour market recovery from the earthquakes in Syria

The main objective of this project is to stabilize the severely affected communities in earthquake-hit governorates, particularly in urban Aleppo, through the creation of immediate decent job opportunities. This will be done through debris removal as well as restoration of access to essential services. 140 jobs over 6 months in total will be created to implement these activities, while raising the contractors’ capacity and compliance with international labour standards particularly on occupational safety and health (OSH).
