Survey for Co-creating a Joint Work Plan for Improving Access to Remedy of Migrant Workers from Southeast Asia to Japan

The project aims to sharing knowledge and good practices with a view to develop stakeholders’ capacities and ultimately facilitate the creation of a joint work plan. This pilot project implements in Cambodia, Indonesia and Viet Nam. The project, in collaboration with key stakeholders in ASEAN and Japan, including Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), is providing technical advice for improving access to remedy for migrant workers from Southeast Asia to Japan. This includes the development and implementation of baseline study, knowledge-sharing and consultative workshop. The expected end results of the intervention is to enhance access to remedy for migrant workers including women deployed from Southeast Asian countries to Japan. The ultimate beneficiaries are all potential, current and returnee migrant workers, including women, those in marginalized and vulnerable situations and people with disabilitiee.
