Protecting Agricultural Workers Through the Promotion of Occupational Safety and Health in Peru

Project objective: Strengthen the mechanisms and capacities for the promotion, management, and enforcement of OSH in the agricultural sector in Peru. Specific objectives: • Specific Objective 1: Strengthen policies, plans, and/or regulations related to OSH, through an analysis focused on the agricultural sector and the ILO’s International Labour Standards (ILS). • Specific Objective 2: Support the country in designing and implementing strategies and tools related to OSH focused on the agricultural sector, with a gender perspective, contributing to a culture of prevention. • Specific Objective 3: Strengthen the capacities of key stakeholders to promote, implement and improve OSH, enabling adequate institutional support in the agricultural sector
