Strengthening the capacity of public actors and civil society to improve the socio-economic integration of women refugees and migrants from Venezuela in Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru

The project objective is to strengthen the capacity of government, workers and employers’ organizations and civil society actors to improve the socio-economic integration of women refugees and migrants from Venezuela in Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru. It will also improve access to Public Employment Services (PES) for migrants through an inclusive, non-discriminatory approach, along with business development services, aims to facilitate the labor and productive integration of refugees and migrants, especially women and people with transgender life experience. The project will enhance capacities of employers' and workers' organizations and civil society organizations to provide services and guidance to refugee and migrant women and people with a transgender life experience, particularly those suffering from violence and discrimination, for sustainable socio-economic integration. It will also improve regional integration mechanisms and consultative processes' institutional agenda in terms of the socioeconomic integration of refugees and migrants, especially women.
