Better Work 2022-2027 - DFAT contribution – Cambodia component
This project supports the implementation of the Gender Equality and Returns programme (GEAR) in Cambodia. This programme helps factories improve their production line productivity by equipping women with the skills they need to perform effectively once they are promoted to become line leaders. The programme assists women in developing both the hard and soft skills needed for their professional development and potential promotion. Factory managers are also coached on how to identify, train and retain female talent. The second component of the project works on preventing and addressing gender-based violence and harassment in the workplace (GBVH) through trainings, communication packages and brand engagement.
