Advancing Digital and Green Skills for Youth in ASEAN

The proposed project, "Advancing Digital and Green Skills for Youth in ASEAN," responds to the critical challenges faced by Southeast Asia due to the changing landscape in the construction sector. It emphasizes the importance of aligning development with environmental sustainability, digitization, and workforce skills development. With a focus on the construction sector, the project aims to invest in sustainable infrastructure, promote digitalization, and enhance youth employment through the development of digital and green skills programmes, apprenticeships and upskilling and reskilling training programmes. By collaborating with regional and national organizations, the project seeks to develop industry-led skills programmes which can be promoted and recognized widely in ASEAN. The project aligns with national and ASEAN policy frameworks and leverages partnerships with Korean institutions to enhance workforce skills and promote sustainable construction practices, ultimately fostering inclusive and environmentally sustainable economic growth in the region.
