Decent Employment for Youth in Cambodia Phase 3 (DEY III)

The Joint United Nations Decent Employment for Youth in Cambodia Phase 3 (DEY III) aims to support the Royal Government of Cambodia and other national partners in implementing the key aspects of national policies, strategies, and work plans to increase decent employment for youth. Priorities are the Pentagonal Strategy for Growth, Employment, Equity, Efficiency and Sustainability. The interventions of this project aims to maximize the impacts of investments by consolidating and strengthening the most successful and promising interventions, based on national ownership and sustainability at different levels - prioritise engagement across its three outcomes which are 1) more youth have increased employability with demand-driven skills in line with current and future labour market needs; 2) more youth have obtained employment and improved working conditions provided by SMEs; and 3) more youth have improved access to labour market opportunities for decent and productive employment. The implementation strategies focus in provinces (i) Banteay Meanchey, Battambang and Pursat and (ii) in Phnom Penh, Kampong Cham and Kampong Thom.
