Support to Job Creation in Mykolaiv and Odesa and to Social Dialogue Development

The International Labour Organization (ILO), funded by the Danish Government, is implementing a project to boost local employment and economic recovery in Ukraine. This initiative centers on establishing Local Employment Partnerships (LEPs) in Odesa and Mykolaiv, offering critical support to vulnerable groups, including women, people with disabilities, war veterans, and individuals with limited or outdated skills. Key activities include entrepreneurship training, startup grants, and targeted training and retraining programs for unemployed individuals and internally displaced persons (IDPs). A core objective of the project is to strengthen social dialogue at the regional level by fostering cooperation among employers, workers, and government agencies. Additionally, the project will promote dialogue within a specific economic sector, chosen collaboratively with the Ukrainian government and social partners.
