Nepal bonded labour project

The project had outputs for promoting fundamental principles and rights at work for agriculture workers in Nepal, prevention and withdrawal of child bonded labour among freed kamaiyas families in western Nepal, policy review and implementation of labour standards in agriculture and increasing access to employment to freed Kamaiyas. The activities were on education (formal and non-formal), vocational and skills development training, awareness raising on legal instruments against child bonded labour and bonded labour, research and documentation. The focus of the project was to rehabilitate freed bonded labour in western Nepal.
